Feminine Hygiene

As a part of lessening my eco-footprint, being mindful of my actions, and living a kinder life as Alicia Silverstone might say; I'm changing up my feminine hygiene products.

You'll probably notice a trend when it comes to the options out there: either a more recognizable product that is simply made of more eco-friendly materials or a product that is a more alternative approach to usual methods but is also more eco-friendly in it's reusable form. For example: you could use tampons created of a more organic material or a diva cup that may be a more alternative approach and a bit of an adjustment but it's also a one-time reusable purchase that will cut down on waste, not to mention cost.

Tampons
For tampons the options I've found are: 1) a removable/reusable cup made of a plastic-like material, 2)Seas Sponge Tampons, 3)a traditional tampon that has been made out of more eco friendly materials, and recently I discovered 4) Reusable tampons.

1) Some Popular brands are: The Diva Cup, The Keeper, The Moon Cup, the LadyCup, and the Lunette Cup

2) The most common type of reusable pad seems to be Lunapads

Feminine Wash
For feminine wash products I've seen both 1) pre moistened wipes and 2) liquid wash to use, presumably, with a reusable wash cloth.
